FoWsc EoE Fail
So I've been experimenting with the EoE role in FoWsc today. First run was great. My last run was a disaster since my team was really great and I screwed it up.
I could not make the griffons stay with me. Made sure an enemy was targeted but both shift+space and ctrl+space and shift+ctrl+space just would not work. All I could find on the subject was this:
"Never get in compass range of a spike because a sudden ping from the MoP can cause your griffons to move away from you and aggro nearby foes."
I hadn't known this. Maybe I was called in early? They were right outside the forest. I guess if I see red anywhere on the compass I need to run? Still I was pinging like mad, far more than MT could have been and I couldn't get their attention at all.
Feel horrible for screwing up my team, but also I want to know what might have went wrong so it doesn't happen again.

Just don't move with your griffons until main team will say to you "griffs come" or something like that. It will be safe for you, griffs and main team.

I waited till they called me in. I didn't expect them to be right outside the forest fighting mobs still. Could it have been a premature call?

thats your teams bad. they are supposed to call you when they kill the last mob outside the tower of courage near where you started.

Well if they said come and they were still fighting mobs, its their own fault, the main team must clear most mobs in the path, ofc the situation could have happened that one of the main team members thought that the 2nd mob, (which is often not killed) is maybe too close and so on backtracking they decided to kill it. But even then they need to tell you that and tell you to stop immediately. Don't feel too bad about it, mistakes happen just get up and try again, yeah if you were in a pug they will rage you and someone will say they have 'blacklisted' you, but that means absolutely nothing lol. If it was a guild/friend grp then I am sure they will understand..

Thanks, feel much better. I was in a pug. I know there was a request from someone for a res and someone went which held things up. Maybe they called me in as soon as they got back from that to make up for time. They were still quite mad at me, but I feel better if it's not my fault.

Pugs fail, thats because a lot of things are lacking.
Such as communication, teamwork, knowledge about certain things etc...
